Two years ago Mladi Glas performed a whirlwind tour in
Slovenija and became wonderful friends with Ansambel Brjar from Goriška Brda.
This July 2012, we have invited Ansambel Brjar to perform with us in Canada so
that this side of the ocean can experience what Slovenija saw. We will be
announcing performance dates soon so please keep checking this website for
details. If you come out to see the “Prijatelji
Ostanimo Prijatelji” Tour of 2012….you won’t be disappointed.

Our trip to Orillia July 9th to 11th was a very successful one. We left Brown's Line Saturday morning with a busload of dancers and an entourage of cars following all the way up to Orillia. Our MGP Slovenian Folk Dance Group was a different kind of "folk group" but we were clearly a welcomed surprise. The organizers of the Mariposa Folk Festival had no idea what to expect and we did not dissappoint. The dancers put on a great lively show for the people attending the Mariposa Festival and we had a great time!
